And today is one of the more torturous days to ryde of the year. Ranking up there with the Friday before Christmas and the Wednesday before Thanksgiving comes a pungent, cramped day. This day is not an official holiday but it has a special place in the hearts of people, it is a cause to participate in broad daylight that which is usually celebrated by the cover of night. Theme colors and procession -wide open are the arms of those who participate by heritage to those who are adopted for at least that day. Oh yes I am talking about St. Patrick’s day.
This day has the pain train being remodeled into a drunk cart. Everybody wearing green, smells like a beer bottle recycling center, kids clearly cutting school…oh the joy. Glad it’s Friday.
Ryde hard or stay home.
